2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale, 700 km
The 2021 Ferrari SF90 Stradale is Ferrari’s groundbreaking plug-in hybrid (PHEV) flagship supercar, introduced as the most powerful road-going Ferrari at the time (celebrating the brand’s 90th anniversary). It marks the first series-production Ferrari with all-wheel drive and a full hybrid powertrain.
Key Specifications (2021 SF90 Stradale)
• Powertrain: 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 (769 hp / 590 lb-ft) + three electric motors (two front, one rear; total electric contribution ~217 hp)
• Combined Output: 986 hp (1,000 CV in metric) and 590 lb-ft of torque
• Battery: 7.9 kWh lithium-ion (allows ~15 miles / 25 km of electric-only driving in eDrive mode; can run in FWD electric mode)
• Transmission: 8-speed dual-clutch automatic (no traditional reverse gear — electric motors handle reversing)
• Drivetrain: All-wheel drive (AWD) with advanced torque vectoring
• Performance:
• 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph): ~2.5 seconds (real-world tests often 2.1–2.3 seconds)
• 0–200 km/h: ~6.7 seconds
• Top speed: ~340 km/h (211 mph)
• Quarter-mile: ~9.6–9.9 seconds
• Weight: Dry weight ~1,570 kg (3,461 lb); curb weight around 3,900 lb (heavier than non-hybrid Ferraris due to battery and motors)
• Fuel Economy (EPA est.): ~20–24 mpg combined (better than pure V8 supercars thanks to hybrid assist; real-world varies)
Optional Assetto Fiorano Package (track-focused): Lighter titanium exhaust, Multimatic shocks with titanium springs, carbon-fiber parts, larger rear spoiler, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires — saves ~30 kg and adds more downforce/aggression.
Signature Features
• Futuristic design with aggressive aero (active elements, shut-off Gurney flap on rear wing), slim LED headlights, and a sculpted mid-engine layout.
• Advanced eManettino driving modes (including Qualify for max power, eDrive for silent running).
• Exceptional traction from AWD + instant electric torque fill, making it brutally fast in all conditions while offering surprising usability in traffic.
• Interior: Minimalist yet luxurious with digital displays, carbon accents, and Ferrari’s signature steering wheel controls.
Production of the standard SF90 Stradale/Spider ran from 2019–2024 (not ultra-limited like the later XX variants, but still exclusive). A Spider (convertible) version exists with similar performance.
