2025 Lamborghini Revuelto, 30 km
The 2025 Lamborghini Revuelto is the Italian brand’s first plug-in hybrid (HPEV) flagship supercar, succeeding the Aventador. It was unveiled in 2023 ahead of Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary and entered production for model years including 2025. It combines a screaming naturally aspirated V12 with three electric motors for massive power, while introducing advanced carbon-fiber construction and improved usability.
Powertrain and Performance
• Engine: New 6.5-liter (6,498.5 cm³) naturally aspirated V12 (L545), producing around 814–825 hp (depending on exact figures) at 9,250 rpm, with a redline up to 9,400–9,500 rpm. It delivers ferocious sound—up to 130 dB in some reports.
• Electric Motors: Three axial-flux motors (two at the front axle for torque vectoring, one integrated into the transmission for the rear). The system adds instant torque and enables short electric-only driving.
• Total Output: 1,001 hp (1,015 CV / 747 kW combined) and substantial torque (around 534–595 lb-ft from the ICE, with electric boost pushing total system torque higher, up to ~1,044 lb-ft in some tests).
• Transmission: 8-speed dual-clutch automatic (improved “e-gearbox”).
• Drivetrain: All-wheel drive.
• Performance:
• 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph): 2.5 seconds (claimed); independent tests show 0–60 mph in as little as 2.2 seconds.
• Top speed: Over 350 km/h (217+ mph).
• Quarter-mile: Around 9.7 seconds @ 148 mph in testing.
• Battery: Small 3.8 kWh lithium-ion pack, offering very limited electric range (~6–10 km / ~4–6 miles) and supporting modes like Città (city/electric) for quieter operation. EPA fuel economy is roughly 10/17/12 mpg (city/highway/combined) on gasoline alone.
The hybrid setup makes it more responsive off the line and agile than the Aventador, with active aerodynamics, all-wheel steering, and torque vectoring enhancing cornering. Reviews describe it as sharper, more composed, and surprisingly livable for a flagship Lambo—civil in “Soft” mode yet ferocious when unleashed.
Design and Chassis
The Revuelto features Lamborghini’s signature sharp, angular styling with Y-shaped headlights, dramatic vents, and scissor doors. It introduces a revolutionary carbon-fiber “monofuselage” chassis (extending the monocoque forward), which is about 10% lighter and 25% stiffer than the Aventador’s. This improves rigidity, handling, and weight distribution.
Active aero elements and a rear diffuser help with downforce. The car is mid-engined, with a more refined interior than predecessors: more headroom and legroom, a Y-shaped dashboard, digital displays (12.3-inch driver cluster, 8.4-inch central infotainment, optional 9.1-inch passenger screen), and premium materials.
